INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Two women were shot on a Southern California college campus in Inglewood on Friday and taken to the hospital, the city’s mayor.

Mayor James Butts of Inglewood, which is near Los Angeles, said the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. on the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology Campus.

Butts spoke on KABC-TV. He said officials do not believe the suspect was still present on campus but were doing a room-to-room search.
